Corgan London
Completed on CO-OP at Corgan Associates, Corgan’s London office was undergoing renovations, and managers based in London wanted a new graphic office concept to give new clients an insight into Corgan’s long history and continued growth. The scope of the project included the entry feature wall, open office graphics, and accent conference room graphics.

3D Model Timeline

Custom LENTICULAR shelving unit is used to display 3D models in a dynamic way, where some faces of shelving are apparent from one direction, and others are hidden from view. Areas, where shelving is not apparent, are used for informational copy relating to the models shown.
The client opted for the vinyl applied graphic, and liked the idea and style of the collage timeline. However, the client wanted the concept to highlight the firm’s current innovations in addition to honoring their past.

ENTRY WALL
As opposed to presenting imagery in a linear sequence correlating to historical date, both historic and modern imagery are collaged together on top of one another to integrate the company’s past with its innovative future.
The redlines help to weave the user through the composition, and also continue into the adjacent conference room. Examples of type integration opportunities are also given.
Historic hand drawn rendering of early architectural project in Dallas, TX, collaged in a finish photograph taken of an innovative airport project.
Renderings submitted to a global design competition showing the future of space pad architecture, shown behind one of the firm’s first theater projects in the 1930’s.
Examples of historic interior photos layered with modern digital renderings
CONFERENCE ROOM
To create continuity throughout the space, the redline graphic from the collage wall becomes further simplified, and layers into the acoustic panels shown on the adjacent wall in the board room. The acoustic panels are a custom shape, and semi-dimensional.
The pattern on the acoustic panels follows an isometric grid to reference perspective sketching in architecture.
3D Model Timeline
The client was pleased with the dynamic integration of different types of photographs and felt that the aesthetic of the graphic was a fun reflection of the murals and design styles featured throughout London. The collage graphic is to be expanded upon and featured in the conference rooms as well.
